The very popular Gloucester Democrats Seafood Dinner is back! Proceeds from this annual event enable us to promote our values, reach out to voters, and get Democrats elected to all levels of government. At this year’s event, we will pay tribute to Mr. Eldridge N. Cook of Bena (1915-2014), who was a legend in Virginia: a prominent civic and business leader, a grandson of slaves, recognized for his lifelong contributions to Virginia’s seafood industry and the economic development of Gloucester.
